• The Application Project Engineer shall be part of the country application sales team. Work closely with ASEs to support existing and new sales/projects.
• Preparing quotation to customers, execute application sales related projects and manage the lifecycle of the installations.
• For the quotation (offer) scope: volume of quotations and rate of orders realised from quotations
• For the execution scope: completion of projects within the time and cost budget, satisfactory result from customer satisfaction surveys
• Support preparation of quotations
• Collect relevant data from ASEs and customers (depending on complexity)
• Provide consultancy to ASEs /customers on equipment & technical solutions, if applicable
• Clarify interfaces /scope of supply with ASEs and other internal functions
• Translate data from VIE (bulk/minibulk) or cylinder banks into technical solutions
• Perform basic engineering
• Integrate/adopt company standard solution/standard equipment with the customers' system
• Collect cost estimates on components and estimate labour and engineering costs to arrive at total costing
• Provide reliable estimate of delivery time
• Support in preparing the technical content of sales proposals
• Carry out basic safety assessment/safety analysis/conformity analysis
• Project Planning
• Prepare and reviewing basic engineering
• Perform detailed engineering
• Manage the purchasing of necessary components and services
• Quality control on components if necessary
• Supervise local manufacturing
• Supervise installation
• Lead / support project start up
• Prepare and organize documentation
• Review project execution, costing, lessons
• Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering with experience in pressure vessel and piping
• Project Management and Engineering, valves and other piping components
