Responsibilities

  • Responsible for production system integrity and production system readiness of systems under the Payment System team.
  • Provide L2 support and troubleshooting for production incidents and critical system interface through Payment system.
  • Support the Incident Manager in ensuring preventive and detective measures of applications are identified and implemented with provision of root cause analysis.
  • Support the IT Planner in meeting project objectives and perform production transition for new system launch and system change request.
  • Propose improvements for systems based on identified process gaps.
  • Standardize processes through developing implementation, integration, and documentation in accordance to set standards
  • Identify and propose suitable processes for automation and implementation.
  • Lead and coordinate projects (project support and change request).
  • Provide analytical support and execute requirement analysis to support system enhancement, fixes, and emergency application changes deployment.
  • Highlight and escalates risk issues to relevant parties in a timely manner.
  • Participate in system restoration for Disaster Recovery exercises.
  • Coordinate regular meeting for issues resolution with developers.


Requirements

  • Diploma / Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
  • Min. 4 years of work experience in the Application or System Support function, preferably in a bank or financial institution.
  • Hands on experience in supporting Payment system of GIRO, FAST RT, Cheque (CTS) and MEPS+.
    Working experience in Enterprise Application support environment with interaction to multiple function (developer, infrastructure and service desk) and business users.
  • Hands on experience in maintaining and supporting Job Scheduling software (not as a job controller) such as Control-M or Autosys, would be a plus.
  • Functional knowledge of banking payment products of Interbank fund transfer, cheque payment and overseas remittance.
    Technical knowledge on Application hosted in both Windows and LINUX, able to perform database query (SQL Server, ORACLE) and check application services under Windows environment and LINUX OS.
  • Good understanding of ITIL methodologies for incident, problem and change management and have usage experience of ITSM software tool such as Service Now.
  • A self- motivated team player who has driven work ethnic and high quality work.
  • Good communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactively identifies customers' needs and providing value-added solutions to them
  • Proactively provides workable solutions, and document for knowledge sharing
  • With sense of accountability and ownership of results.
  • Demonstrate sound judgment in reviewing problems and making recommendations / decisions
