A leading IT service provider has strong footprint in the region is currently looking for a Business Continuity Manager who likes challenging and keeping the business going.


The Responsibilities

  • Develop disaster recovery plans for premises with essential IT assets and systems for internal and external customers.
  • Involve in the effort to create and maintain IT disaster recovery plans, maintain documentation regarding test results and manage continuous improvement process, exercises and program strategy.
  • Involve in the testing and rehearsal of documented disaster recovery strategies and plans partnering with Infrastructure, Application and Business leaders for internal and external customers.
  • Partner with IT and Business BCP leaders to develop acceptable recovery time & recovery point goals for essential systems and maintain the listing of essential applications.
  • Work with Internal & External Audit, Risk, and Compliance to achieves all regulatory or customer-mandated BC/DR obligations. Deliver updates to senior management and other stakeholders as needed.
  • Lead BC/DR Crisis Management activities and coordinate response in a BC/DR event. Participate in other Incident Management (e.g., Technical, Operational, Cyber Security, etc.) activities, as needed.
  • Gather, interpret and ensure Business Impact Analysis (BIA) are conducted for all departments by guiding each departments' risk and business impact analysis.

The Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in IT Related program with more than 3 years' related experience.
  • Deep understanding and experience with BCP and IT Disaster Recovery, techniques, principles, methodologies and supporting technologies.
  • Family with legacy and modern application architectures & related technologies (Web applications, Web Services, Service Oriented Architectures, Micro services) and of network/web related protocols
  • Must understand cloud computing and using IAAS services for IT DR.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills, especially related to facilitation, documentation and reporting.
  • Experience with formal change management.
  • Able to coordinate activities between all stakeholders, especially Application Owners, Technical Resources, Vendors and Auditors.
