• Responsible for driving Continuous Improvement culture, operational improvements and productivity in Manufacturing as per the IMEX standards. This role is 100% dedicated to continuous improvement (CI)
• Responsible for leading/ coaching project teams to continuously streamline processes and eliminate waste to achieve optimum efficiency and effectiveness in Manufacturing
• Partner with Site OPEX Team to train, facilitate and promote the use of Lean Six Sigma methodologies in Manufacturing
• Agree and prioritize CI goals with the assigned Process Centric Teams' (PCT's)
• Develop & Co-ordinate the weekly Tier I CI meeting
• Partner with the PCT to ensure all CI ideas are:
• Prioritized using a structured approach to ensure that the priority projects are aligned to the Compelling Business Needs (CBN)
• Use the right methodology and tools (Just Do It, M1-M4)
• Ensure that the active CI projects are up to date & progressing in a timely manner
• Build internal capability by coaching PCT members on the CI process, root cause analysis, risk analysis and definition of solutions for key issues.
• Lead selected/relevant CI projects as per agreement with the PCT lead end to end (significant CI projects or green belts, OEE, Robustness, etc.)
• Sharing & standardization of CI approach or initiatives between PCT's
• Conduct regular Gemba walk to find operational challenges for improvement
• Proactively monitor, identify, develop and implement improvements in processing and operating equipment
• Create equipment specifications / drawings and basis of design as required and ensure that existing documentation is accurate and appropriate
• Support project team in execution of project and change control modification.
• Solicit feedback from subject matter expert and provide technical inputs on the design or selection of process equipment, layout, and facilities systems
• Responsible for document preparation and leading the commissioning, post construction cleaning, start-up and validating works on new equipment, facilities and utilities of the project
• Develops standard operating procedures and provides training to process technicians on the set procedure
• Participates actively in process safety assessment such as HAZOP review, Pre-Startup Safety Review, What If analysis and FMEA
• Take ownership of change control for all continuous improvement projects
• Ensure continuous improvement system for all Process Centric Team (PCT) is run as per IMEx standards
• Monitor and provide coaching and health check for continuous improvement in all PCTs and Change Over team
• Maintain a system for tracking and visibility of all the CI's from all sources

Requirements:

• Diploma / Degree in Science, Chemical Engineering or related
• A minimum of 3 - 5 years of experiences in pharmaceutical or manufacturing working related industry
• Good verbal communication and interpersonal skills
