The Head of Procurement, Singapore is responsible for the management of how the business spends
money with all third party suppliers within the sites.
To ensure the proper procurement procedure in place in conjunction with Management strategic directions
within the sites.
Set up and manage of a consistent PO process in conjunction with Management strategic directions within
the sites.
Works closely with the business to ensure the process is fully understood and uses all appropriate areas of spend.
Installs appropriate systems and resource to provide suitable service levels to the business
Ensure constant updating of SRM (Supplier Relationship Management) contracts
Uses an effective method of communication so that the business is aware of and understands all agreements.
Implements Global, Business Unit and Local agreements.
Support the business in the management of long-term contracts. Identify opportunities in delivering cost benefits to the site.
Ensure suppliers and contractors; operates with appropriate contract terms which comply with policies and local laws and regulations.
Reviews all supply arrangements, audit invoices and consumption records to validate compliance.
Conserves cash and improving working capital through management of payment terms and inventory. Works with suppliers and Finance to alleviate non-conforming situations.
Defines a process for tracking strategic products and service costs. If there is an opportunity to hedge to avoid price increases, this should be investigated and presented to the business for approval.
Ensures inventory levels and obsolete stock issues are minimized.
Contributes to the inventory management process by working closely with Operations and Sales & Marketing teams.
Supply-related Reporting and Communication
Motivates the team and ensures clear definition of deliverables during each financial year.

Excellent system skills- SAP/Purchasing systems -
Good Contract management skills
