Mission & Main Tasks

  • Planning the inspection process, improving manufacturing technique/process and maintaining quality completion system in response to new model/new manufacturing technique
  • Developing new inspection system using AI, machine learning, sensor, and other ICT technology and improving the existing inspection system
  • Research and development of inspection technology for major parts and functions such as automobile electric/chassis
  • Preparation and execution of inspection equipment remodeling work when a new car is introduced
  • Development of new inspection equipment/technology
  • Collaboration with Headquarters and R&D



Roles & Responsibilities:
Inspection Process Management

  • Standardize inspection process and Optimize production schedule in response to BTO(Build to Order)
    • Standardize inspection items/method/specification
  • Conduct online/offline teaching, simulation, and testing on new model/new parts (CPS production pre-verification)
  • Monitor test results and Improve inspection process
    • Devise and Improve new inspection method
    • Administer inspection automation and F/Proof system
    • Manage and Analyze data
  • Improve process quality completion system in the inspection line using vision inspection
    • Development of inspection items to prevent quality defects
  • Ensure high moving quality of new module item
    • Tailgate, door, hood module, skateboard-type chassis module, etc.
  • Develop and manage standard operation procedure and inspection standards in response to changes in items(car/automotive electronics/function testing) and specification
  • When DTC occurs, vehicle data acquisition and cause analysis and improvement using appropriate S/W and equipment



New Testing System Development and Existing Testing System Improvement

  • Maintain Hardware / Software
  • Devise and Direct vision inspection capability improvement plan by using AI and machine learning
  • Devise and Direct improvement plan by analyzing quality testing results
  • Develop new quality inspection techniques by using ICT and sensor technology
