Security Architect Consultant
As a security architect consultant, you will be managing all security architecture related activities / projects for Asia Pacific. This include improving and sustaining infrastructure, application and network security for both on-premise and in-cloud. You will also provide consulting and advisory services to all Opcos that the group is serving internally.
What you will be doing
Delivery of Services
- Engage with regional business units and regional information systems team to provide security consulting services and technology security architecture reviews
- Active engagements with mid-level management of business units with occasional engagement with senior management of business units
- Determine the operational practices of the team in the region in accordance with regional environment and dynamics
- Ensure that quality and best practice are adhered to in all aspects of the work
- Ensure business engagement models are defined and implemented in the region
- Ensure successful delivery of the key projects as well as KPI results with the team in order to meet the management expectation for productivity, effectiveness, efficiency, quality and goal accomplishment
- Provide ad-hoc technical support and consulting services based on the requests from other division functions as well as external stakeholders
- Ensure that quality and best practice are adhered to in all aspects of the work
- Adopt the department's way of working using productivity tools for day-to-day work
Strategic Planning - Contribute to the management and development of the division based on the regional context
- Participate in budget and resource planning in accordance with the regional needs
What you should have - Minimum degree in Computer Science, Information Security or related field
- Professional certifications in Information security and/or network security
- At least 5 years of relevant experience supporting Information Security architecture and technologies in large enterprise networks with extensive demonstrable hands-on experiences in most of the following areas
- Experience in managing budgets and creating business cases for funding justification;
- Advanced skills in developing, documenting and maintaining policies and procedures, including creation of diagrams, documenting detailed process flows; and developing performance metrics and management reports
- Architecture of large-scale network and application environments (including Internet-facing)
- Solid understanding of the TCP/IP protocol suite and related concepts and technologies; IPv4 and IPv6
- Experience designing and securing Cloud IaaS (AWS/Azure/Alibaba/Google)
- Experience of working and securing Virtualization Technologies (VMWare NSX)
- Experience with router and multilayer switch technologies and products
- Experience with firewall technologies and products, including NextGen firewalls (e.g. Checkpoint, Juniper, Cisco, Palo Alto) and firewall management tools (Skybox, AlgoSec)
- Experience with key security tools such as Intrusion Detection/Prevention, Data Loss Prevention, Web Application Firewalls, Web Proxies, Web Content Filtering; DDoS defence
- Experience with system engineering, installation and administration of *NIX-based and Windows-based operating systems, system hardening and troubleshooting
- Experience in managing large projects is a plus (or having Project Management certifications)
- Experience in providing consulting services
