Responsibilities:

  • Provide technology, data and process support for an effective and professional IT service across the organization, with commensurate travel as appropriate
  • Support, administration, maintenance and optimization of key functional areas across Microsoft Office 365 cloud applications and services, client platform technologies, enterprise device management and application deployment, manufacturing shop-floor application, audio-visual and printing
  • Drive continuous technical improvement of the MW service portfolio, scope and satisfaction scores
  • Contribute to global MW technology selection, policies, standards, implementation and enforcement
  • Responsible for contribution to MW architecture definition, maintenance, product/service R&D and strategy
  • Assist with the planning and deployment of MW security measures
  • Input on requirements development and analysis, solutions and component technical definition, planning of integration and technical implementation of solutions
  • Support project teams, acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), by providing overall expertise and guidance on MW-related aspects of technology product, architecture, design and implementation
  • Contributor for Incident and Problem Mgmt. plus Service Requests to meet objectives to documented SLA/T(s) and measurable KPI(s).
  • Asset and licensing management across the MW scope as directed by the MW management team
  • Ad-hoc reporting to the MW management team as requested.
  • Produce regular updates and information on system issues, root cause and resolutions and make them available to management, as requested
  • Participate in the on-call Rota/responsibility for Major Incident Management (MIM) as required
  • Responsible for Capacity Planning and Monitoring
  • Ensure the MW IT systems are maintained per current Essentra policies
  • Where appropriate and if on site, assist with any on-site Operational Activities/Incidents and Service Requests as logged via the Global Service Desk.
  • Continually maintaining awareness to ensure that good security practices are followed at all times.
  • Offer expert advice / solution architecture design to peers within the field of MW services
  • Contribute to Technical High-Level and Low-Level Designs and associated documentation as requested
  • Input to solution designs for capacity, resilience/recovery planning and implementation for MW services
  • Project management of small technical/infrastructure projects: planning, scheduling, prioritizing and monitoring
  • Liaise with external service providers and consultants to achieve successful delivery, contribute to utilization and monitoring efficient time/billing.
  • Provide Operational handover (documentation) for acceptance of all new technologies implemented


Job Requirement:

  • Microsoft certification in at least one of operating system and Office365 or Azure
  • Minimum 3 years of working within a multi-national organization with relevant experience in Modern Workplace/End User Support
  • Must have hands-on experience in large-scale 24/7 enterprise environments hosting 000's of users, complex systems, multiple cloud services and business locations
  • Good understanding of Windows-based computer systems, enterprise connectivity, Microsoft applications across a global organization with on-premises and cloud-based services
  • Technical understanding of Microsoft end user/MW technologies: Windows desktop and server (AD, DNS, DHCP), Office desktop apps, Office365 with EMS and associated scripting, Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, Citrix/RDS
  • Office Audio-visual and printing.
  • Corporate security controls e.g. endpoint protection, web filtering, mobile device management.
