We are looking for a member to join their Static Operations team. We're looking for a person who is as comfortable in working with code as they are in operating servers and systems. A person who looks for solutions to problems and isn't afraid to implement them. A person who can work from a local desktop, a remote server, or a cloud deployed system with equal effect.
Operations Engineers work with company's development and support teams to continually improve our Static Analysis Engine technologies and working with customer assets to determine required improvements or fixes to our systems. This requires an ability to troubleshoot software execution and determine root-cause and communicate that information to software engineering teams and support teams.
The Static Operations Engineer is responsible for assisting in the help the company's static engine environment, software deployments, tier-3 support, and overall environmental health. They will need an understanding of software environments, server system environments (Windows and Linux), as well as platform environments (physical datacenters, virtualization, cloud-service). This person will need to have a functional knowledge of working in Microsoft Visual Studio environments and working with debug-level software and have the ability to pull useful information from debug-runs.

What we're looking for:

• Degree in Computer Science and/or Information Technologies
• 3 + years' experience in a professional software environment
• Proficient in C/C++ and/or Java
• A working skill set in SQL with an ability to read and create queries.
• Proficiency in additional languages (PHP, Python, PERL, or JavaScript)
• Experience working in Software IDEs (Visual Studio, Eclipse, etc.)
• Working knowledge of Enterprise class operating systems (Redhat Linux)
• Understanding of software operating in different environments (standard, mobile, web, cloud)
• Ability to trouble-shoot engineering and development related problems
• An understanding of Agile and DevOps methodologies
• Comfortable in technology operation practices
• Trouble-shooting complex software systems
• Being able to multi-task and keep multiple projects moving simultaneously
• Ability to participate in a rotating On-Call schedule
• Ability to work both independently and as a part of a team
• Ability to clearly communicate very technical issues to non-technical audiences

Nice to have:

• A familiarity with database technologies
• Knowledgeable in identifying and remediating software vulnerabilities
• An understanding on Systems Configuration and Administration for Windows and Linux platforms.
