  • Prepare datasheets, process parameters for key equipment purchase requisition (gas compressor, turbine, refrigeration plant, heat exchanger, pumps, control valves, flare system, etc.), calculations, design report, etc
  • Responsible for the design work within his field of engineering discipline and cooperate with inter-disciplines engineers to ensure quality engineering deliverables are acquired timely
  • Involved in process works for design & detailed engineering, installation, testing & commissioning of small-scale natural gas liquefaction plants and other offshore/onshore LNG solutions
  • Review all incoming correspondences daily pertaining to all projects involved in the section and delegating these down to Engineers in-charge for actions
  • Coordinate with the team and use process computer simulation software such as HYSYS/AspenPlus as a tool to evaluate the best solution for the project
  • Actively seek solution to resolve persistent technical problems to look for new solution to improve the current designs, work methods and procedures
  • Interact with customers, vendors, consultants and regulatory bodies on design matter and material specifications pertaining to ongoing projects
  • Review and approve drawings, correspondence, technical documents such as technical specifications and test procedures for sea trial etc
  • Prepare project specifications in accordance with client's requirements to ensure technical and regulatory compliances are met
  • Writing process design documentation including the process basis of design, design philosophies and other reports
  • Provide resources for enquiry jobs, FEED studies and bid tendering processes when required
  • Prepare Process Flow Diagrams (PFD) and Piping & Instrument Diagrams (P&ID)
  • Perform technical reviews of vendor documentation
  • Monitor documentation progress of various projects
  • Recognized Engineering Degree with at least 2 years relevant working experience, preferably in marine/ offshore industry
  • Knowledge of functional and operational requirements related to design of all types of ships and offshore vessels
  • Well versed with international codes and standards; and regulatory and class requirements
  • Working knowledge in MS office suite and related industrial software applications
  • Awareness of cost impact of meeting engineering schedules
