• This role is responsible for ensuring the base oil procurement strategies as defined by regional base oil managers and global teams are executed in AP region and support of related activities.
• Synergises with the regional base oil managers and global teams to manage the global relationships with key global & regional suppliers and their supply performance
• Shape and develop 3P category and sourcing strategies with 3P Global/Regional Category Team and implement 3P initiatives taking along wider cross functional teams.
• Operate and remain compliant with Procurement controls and standards, with focus on HSSE
• Support the Risk Management Register
• Develop with regional Base Oil managers the action plans to implement base oil strategy and coordinate or monitor implementation performance.
• Translate strategic targets into business plans and performance contracts ensuring top down and bottom up consistency and transparency. Salesforce reconciliation.
• Ensure Global volume plans are collated annually, and Supplier contracts tracked vs contractual terms
• Ensure that Base oil prices are updated and uploaded onto system
• Monthly rolling forecasts responsibility
• Actively manage 3P procurement portfolio spend for the identified cluster countries
• Enable 3P regional category strategy delivery through effective and regular communication and establish alignment with wider stakeholders.
• Collaborate with 3P regional category team to identify and evaluate potential 3P in the defined cluster to build & document the sourcing strategies & run risk analysis.
• Lead Cluster level 3P RFI/RFP sourcing events, support commercial negotiations, drive new vendors authorization process in developing and signing off the commercial contracts.
• Lead country level cross-functional purchasing team to execute the 3P Procurement Initiatives in the cluster to realise planned savings, improve quality, flexibility & resilience & continuity of supply and minimise business risk
• Support the 3P AP Regional Procurement Team to implement Global 3P Playbook in the cluster & in closing the compliance related gaps.
• Help to integrate 3P suppliers in the cluster, supporting the implementation of new contracts ensuring efficient change management.

Requirements:

• University degree or equivalent
• Essential experience and job requirements
• Any past sourcing & purchasing experience would be preferred.
• Excellent networking skills, an open style, sound commercial judgment and be able to work well under pressure with competing priorities.
• A sound understanding of strategic and business fundamentals and drivers.
• Ability to communicate key messages in a clear and concise manner both verbally and in writing.
• Strong analytical and computer (Excel, Powerpoint etc) skills.
• Understanding and preferably experience of base oil refining and an understanding of base oil technology.
• Good understanding of procurement requirements and procurement's position in a business, and previous experience of developing procurement analytics.
• Ability to manage conflicting priorities and maintain a good channel of communication with business partners.
• Exhibit a performance-oriented approach with emphasis on creativity, teamwork and project leadership in diverse settings.
• A sound understanding of and experience in using financial concepts.
