- To oversee and drive the best cost and quality for products under their care
- Lead in product transfer and new product introduction
- Accountable for supplier selection, development and strategies alliances
- Responsible for the development and implementation procurement cost reduction and vendor managed inventory program.
- Develop and manage relationship with all key suppliers
- Conduct regular review with the team on supplier's quality and cost reduction target
- Liaisons with suppliers on all quality issues and manage quality improvement program
- Make disposition of non-conforming or suspect non-conforming material
- Strong skillsets in managing supplier performance in terms of quality, cost, delivery, and responsiveness.
- Understanding of negotiation of commercial terms in awarding sales agreements to vendors
- Strong mechanical knowledge especially in Casting, Machining, Surface Treatment
- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering
