As part of the company's global eTransformation initiative, the Asia Digital Resource Centre has a critical need for a Product Information Architect Leader. They provide innovative solutions regarding the information architecture, design, development and management of all product content & website development efforts in the Asia region. This will require them to lead & govern the processes that all of our business groups will follow for the development & maintenance of all digital content to be used on our internal (i.e. websites, online stores) and external (i.e. channel partners) digital platforms.
Summary:
Be responsible for the processes, governance & execution pertaining to product information management systems and website development platforms in Asia, while aligning with local, regional & global practices and lead an operation team to excellence to support business requirements utilising GPIM.
Scope:
Product Information & Content Development
*Define the product content strategy in coordination with local, regional & global marketing teams
*Collaborate with global colleagues to ensure optimal use of data models and data attribution in product information management systems to support all outputs
*Lead the development of best-in-class product content covering product photo-shoots, product descriptions, copy & attributes to drive conversion
*Own/drive budgets for developing best-in-class content at the most optimum cost
*Provide guidance to local teams on product catalog prioritization across all content needs (i.e. eCommerce, company websites, channel partners, etc.)
*Maintain constant communication with local marketing teams to ensure product attributes and related information are defined and accurate
*Support & enable our local teams in the management of digital content (ensuring accuracy and relevancy of information) required to drive the business' presence, vision, goals and strategies
*Report on digitization and syndication progress and help improve processes
*Lead QA efforts for product information accuracy
Website Projects
*Manage website replication projects and collaborate with IT teams for production and development
*Prioritize digitization and web maintenance requests, while facilitating execution through IT teams
*Manage the implementation of new website functionalities such as ratings & reviews, SEO improvements, etc.
You will be successful by:
*Leading processes through your website development experience and technical expertise, team-work and project management skills.
*Understanding company technology GPIM systems, architecture and available solutions that support product data and digital information for internal and external use.
Qualifications:
*Bachelor's degree or equivalent
*6 or more years of experience in managing the development, maintenance, and/or programming of websites and other digital assets & programs
*Ability to understand technical design features and technical architecture as it relates to website and content development
*Experience with Adobe Acrobat, Excel, PowerPoint, Word (Photoshop, HTML, and CSS experience is a plus)
*Project management experience with demonstrated ability to prioritize work independently and manage multiple tasks (PMP certification is a plus)
