- Reports to Team Lead (Projects)
- Perform Project Procurement and related activities to meet the cost, schedule and quality requirements
- Implement and ensure adherence to Contracting Plan within the Project
- Lead pre-qualification process from site audit to eventual qualification of new suppliers and contractors
- Lead negotiation process with suppliers to ensure best possible terms and conditions
- Periodically review project procurement plan and strategies for its effectiveness and relevancy
- Analyze project scope of supply and contract requirements to ensure adequate risk analysis
- Liaise with corporate Legal and Risk Management group on contract related issues
- Analyze procurement data and prepare periodic reports as required
- Contracts management and administration
- Perform Vendors/Contractors' performance evaluation
- Interface with Finance group on payment issues
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Business or related fields.
- At least 5 years' of procurement work experience preferable in the Chemical, Oil & Gas Industry
- Experience in management project process
- Knowledge in commercial, financial, quality and contract law associated with procurement activities
- Good written, verbal communication skill
- Good team player and strong drive for performance and results
- Working knowledge on SAP or other Purchasing system is an added advantage
