• Responsible for improving the organization Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental performance
• Ensure compliance to the local legal regulation and standards
• Responsible for assisting the QHSE Manager in implementing and maintaining QHSE policies and procedures
• Participating in risk safety and health assessments
• Conducting in-house safety training and making recommendation on safety measures to improve plant safety
• Maintain and control QHSE documentations
• Plan and coordinate the training and certification of personnel for Quality and HSE
• To be successful in this role, the candidate is required to have strong commitment to company values and courage to stop jobs when QHSE issues are being compromised
• Be able to build credibility through positive actions, effective engagement and demonstrating sound judgment
• Degree in Health, Safety and environment Management or Specialist Diploma in Workplace Safety and Health
• Relevant experience in Chemical / Petrochemical industry / Oil & Gas industry
