• The R&D Director will be part of our Research and Development department in managing initiatives across company's range of electronic products.
• Lead a team of Engineers and provide overall direction of assigned R&D projects with latest technology innovation and concepts
• Actively seek and drive development of new products or technologies and improve existing products
• Identify cost effective raw material options and develop cost containment strategies
• Manage the development of products, processes, sample/ prototype development and final product Work to build and maintain effective relationships with customers and suppliers
• Will be personally responsible for several high priority projects
• Ensure appropriate project management, monitoring and regular follow up
• Degree in Electronic & Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Preferably with 8 years of working experience in Electronics Industry
• Be up-to-date on new technology and ability to understand market/ customer requirements
• Significant, sustained product development and delivery record
• Analytical, strategic thinker, and resourceful with good business acumen
