  • The IMS Application Engineer is the primary interface between the client and IMS and must reflect our unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction. You are responsible for maintaining an excellent client relationship and for resolving/escalating any problems/concerns encountered.
  • You will work with a broad range of client stakeholders, the other members of the IMS consulting team, and the IMS software development team to successfully and efficiently deploy our applications to help our clients achieve their objectives. You will train end users, support client change management needs, test client requested application changes, and meet project budget and timeline.
  • For this position, our ideal candidate would have a strong analytical background, experience in semiconductor manufacturing, familiarity with industrial engineering concepts, and basic knowledge of SQL. Prior experience managing software deployment projects and process control is also a plus.
  • Assist in the entire project life cycle by helping to define clear deliverables, determine what expertise is required, produce estimates of program/project requirements based on changing client needs, and adhere to the schedule to meet project goals. Provide written and oral feedback to the account manager and IMS Management on weekly activities, customer requests, needs and requirements. ·Work closely with the IMS software development team including providing feedback on applications, communicating new feature requests, performing QA for new versions, and managing deployments. Assist with the deployment and support of IMS software and Industrial Engineering systems including Factory-wide scheduling and process control systems. Provide technical assistance to customers related to IMS products and services. Be able to support regional sales by providing technical demonstrations and presenting product offerings in technical presentations. Bachelor of Science degree in (Computer Science or Engineering) 3+ years' work experience in manufacturing or assembly Familiarity with industrial engineering concepts Knowledge and use of SQL and databases Solid understanding of semiconductor manufacturing is desirable. Understanding of semiconductor process control systems (FDC and APC), factory automation, and statistical process control is a plus.
