Responsibilities

• Meet with customers (with Assigned mentor during starting) and Establish customer requirements.
• Create and maintain documentation that facilitates requirements discussions (block /process diagrams, As Is vs. To Be flows/diagrams, Sequence Diagrams, etc.)
• Provide an accurate work estimate in terms of hours/days/weeks and establish Delivery schedule.
• Design and Implement the solution.
• Do System integration testing and Support user acceptance testing.
• Follow established deployment practices.
• Create and maintain necessary documentations.
• Maintain communication with teams and customers.
• Align to team best practices and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) using Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Follow guidelines, policies and expectations that will be stipulated time to time and adhere to companywide and site wide Policies and procedures on Safety, Security, IP Protection and ethics.
  
  Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics Engineering with some background knowledge and Passion for Software development OR Bachelor Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or Related field of study.
• Minimum 1 years of experience in any of the following:
  • Developing applications to support manufacturing processes, equipment maintenance, and engineering analysis
  • Good flair for software programming
  • Database development and design with MS-SQL
  • Windows programming in C#
  • Scripting experience in Perl
  • Markup languages: XML, HTML, XSL. Good XML knowledge is a plus
  • Understanding of middleware and messaging concepts
  • Machine Communication: SECS/GEM, Serial, OPC.
  • End user GUI design
  • Source code management best practices
  • Agile methodologies
  • Experience in Manufacturing IT environment is a plus.

• The ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment with tight timelines.
• The ability to manage multiple projects and tasks concurrently.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Positive attitude, Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Willing to work in a Manufacturing environment (Example: Semiconductor Clean room) for specified period to support Machine related software check out, System Integration Testing, etc.
• Willingness to work in multiple sites within Singapore based on Project needs
