Software Manager (.Net)

Job Scope:

Operational and administrative lead of the Packaging CIT Software team: Managing assignment, work planning of software engineers
To manage (small) new software development projects and escalations from customer sites and production
Provides technical coaching and support of software engineers. Identify knowledge and experience gap and initiate/ facilitate training and education accordingly with help from the overseas R&D team
Identify key know-how in the team and prevent the loss of such know-how
Implement efficient work processes to improve collaboration within the team and to external departments, such as the overseas R&D team, Tech Support and Production sites
Drive the implementation of the department/ team strategy into the workflow
Participate in software development/ debugging works as part of the team when required

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in software or Electrical/ Electronic Engineering or Computer Sciences
With at least 6 years of experience in handling customer projects, engineering, application, field service and operation in Semiconductor industry
Proficiency in Microsoft.NET framework (C#, WCF, WPF) using Microsoft Visual Studio
Knowledge of UML and state machines
Experience with version control in Mercurial/ GIT is a plus
Experience with PLC, ST (IEC 6-1131) is a plus
