Job Purpose

The Solution Architect is employed as a technical expert of Infrastructure Practice to work closely with sales teams to provide pre-sales technical support to clients by identifying the customers' requirements and designing a commercially viable IT Infrastructure solution from within the company's product portfolio.

Responsibilities:

1. Take a leading role in specifying technical solutions and writing proposals and tender responses;

2. Work closely with the sales team on proposals and pitches for business;

3. Attend meetings with potential Clients to determine technical and business requirements and ensuring that all necessary information is collated prior to producing a solution;

4. Provide technical solutions in a professional manner for the sales teams to support their proposals;

5. Work closely and collaboratively with internal technical team, channel partners, and technology partners to devise effective IT infrastructure solutions;

6. Deliver product presentations and demonstrations, and provide support at external and internal customer facing events;

7. Work with the post-sales team in handing over any pre-sale efforts;

8. Lead and manage product demos and POCs;

9. Maintain a thorough knowledge of the company's products and service offerings and methodologies, through internal/external enablement session, vendors conducted workshop and self-learning;

Requirements

1. Proven track record in a pre-sales environment within an IT Infra solutions business;

2. Technically skilled with a customer focused mind and excellent communication skills;

3. Experience in developing and delivering effective presentations;

4. Ability to work independently and to be proactive;

5. Able to capture the necessary end-user requirements input and design a complete solution/SOW to meet the tender specification;

6. Ability to learn and deploy new technologies fast;

7. Ability to convince customer with excellent service oriented attitude;

8. Strong knowledge of x86 server architecture and virtualization solution

9. Good knowledge of public cloud ie AWS, Azure, Google

10. Certificate on Redhat, VMWare, Azure is an added advantage
