• Provide System Administration on Solaris/Linux
• Virtualization - Set up and Manage
• Providing Storage Administration. Ensuring data is stored and backed up regurlary
• Monitor and troubleshoot hardware, software and networking issues
• Monitoring system performance to ensure everything runs smoothly and securely.
• Researching and recommending new approaches to improve the networked computer system.
• Providing technical support when requested
• Providing documentation support

Requirements

• 5 years of relevant experience
• Experience in Solaris and Linux
• Experience with databases, networks (LAN, WAN) and patch management
• Knowledge of system security and data backup/recovery
• Ability to create scripts in Python, Perl or other language
• Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms
