Your Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the implementation and improvement of the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) with regards to master data maintenance & process modeling, user experience, workflow and training activities
  • Responsible for the setup and maintenance of SAP master data relevant to manufacturing processes, align with cross function teams (e.g. IT, R&D, Engineering, Production Planning, etc.) to gather/document requirements such as Material Master data, Bill of Material, Manufacturing routing, etc
  • Lead MES engineering function while realising solution through MES and SAP, ensure that there is alignment according to business goal among interdepartmental activities within the entire CRM business unit
  • Collect and analyse manufacturing data; identify any gaps and improvement to enhance MES operational activities and data accuracy
  • Identify improvement on reporting and monitoring to increase data transparency within entire CRM Operations to enhance operational efficiency. Collaborate with internal and global partners to develop & visualize data through the introduction of QlikSense, Business Intelligence/Object Report
  • Design and develop MES process flow according to blueprint to realize the entire supply chain (E2E: from material logistic to manufacturing and shipment processes)
  • Design & develop new business rule for new product/process/inter and cross-site transfers with integration of MES as key solution.
  • Integrate programming languages XML, SQL, Oracle to access database as part of solution & machine integration with MES solution.
  • Drive future enhancements in advising and specifying novel user requirements to MES functionality, including bug fixes; lead the implementation of new releases and features to the production environment
  • Manage the integration of global & local solutions for connected software applications. Such systems include ERP (SAP), Business Intelligence (Business Objects), and machine interfaces/automation middleware.
  • Manage and implement continuous process improvement and lean manufacturing projects to enhance manufacturing quality, reliability and cost- effectiveness of existing processes
  • Manage the operational part of all process and design process changes relevant to MES/SAP, lead communication initiatives to facilitate a compliant and efficient introduction of improvements
  • Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies and applicable laws. Supervisory responsibilities include the selection, training and development, assigning work and performance management of employee
  • Develop and maximise contribution of team members, assess talent, identify promotional opportunities and develop succession plans
  • Ensure accurate forecast for budgeting of costs, resources and timelines for all MES engineering activities


Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience, preferably in the manufacturing industry with minimum 3 years in managerial or supervisory capacity
  • Proficient in SAP and Manufacturing Execution System (CAMSTAR is a plus)
  • Proficient with software validation requirements
  • Experience with Oracle database and BI enterprise systems is a plus
  • Practical application experience with track record of success in continuous improvement methodologies to simplify processess, improve quality and reduce complexities
  • Knowledge of integration of automated test equipment is a plus
  • Knowledge of process modelling in application environment is a plus
  • Ability to demonstrate time management and leadership skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and intercultural skills with good problem solving skills
