Responsibilities

The Manager is responsible for overseeing delivery for online platform and leading the development of data team. Working closely with cross-functional colleagues, you will foster internal collaboration in order to ensure the timely and high-quality delivery of output. You will advise internal and external clients on operational matters, striking a good balance between meeting client requirements and ensuring that online platform is implemented sensibly, effectively and efficiently according to best practices. By understanding short and long-term needs, you will develop the data team to build full-range capabilities that meet business requirements.

Delivery

• Oversee the teams responsible for end-to-end project operations: project management, data and coding
• Work with project managers to assess feasibility of requirement briefs
• Advise clients on operational / implementation matters for more complex studies when necessary
• Coordinate and prioritise inter-department resources and schedules to ensure timely and quality delivery
• Ensure overall consistency and robustness of project management / data processing and delivery standards and processes

Development

• Work closely with the operations team to plan, propose and execute initiatives for online platform
• Monitor and report on the effectiveness and overall health of the online platform
• Ensure the platform is robust, developing it over time to better meet business requirements while improving accuracy and quality
• Lead the Data Solutions team in building full-range capabilities in processing, managing and performing advanced scripting and analysis on data

Team management

• Staff supervision, coaching and development
• Performance management
• Building and setting team standards / culture in line with organisational values
• Build strong inter-department collaboration and relationships
• Manage vendor relationships to ensure high quality service delivery
• Ensure compliance with corporate, security and personal data protection requirements

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of relevent working experience in the same capacity
• Excellent people management skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Skills/experience in any of the following are not prerequisites but would be an added advantage:
• Coding of open-ended text data
• Data processing and analysis
• Data collection / analysis software (eg. ConfirmIT, Decipher, WinCATI, SPSS etc.)
• Web programming languages (CSS, Java, HTML, etc)
