A fast-growing RFID technology company provides library solutions has established their footprint in Singapore to provide their solutions to clients across SEA region is on the search for a passionate Technical Support Engineer to join their exciting team in Singapore.
Being a Technical Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical supports in Singapore and SEA region:
- Support pre-sales & after-sales product application, demonstration, installation and customer training
- Provide first & second level technical support, technical training and training materials on products and solutions to the customers
- Support tender bids, work with customers, vendors and internal parties on technical requirements, project planning, execution and commissioning
- Manage our service provider relationship & quality
- Log and track technical support requests in CRM to support KPI's in Singapore, and to escalate those cases when third level support is required
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Degree in Electronic/Electrical, Mechatronics, Computer Science and/or related discipline
- At least 4 years related working experience with deployed software/hardware systems, preferably with RFID, barcode or smartcard components
- Knowledge of computer/networking, RFID, smartcard and/or other software/hardware devices
- Solid hands-on experience with software/hardware systems, ranging from integration, installation to support
- Strong software/hardware troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Customer focused and able to interact with customers at all levels
- Strong team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
Nice to have
- Project management experience
- Knowledge in library operation systems
- Knowledge or interest in computer programming
