Role Purpose (Why do we need this role?)

Project Managers in Client will lead and own project deliverables to secure project objectives throughout the project lifecycle. They will drive high-performing projects teams and will own project governance. Project Managers will ?establish and maintain the project management information systems to provide ready visibility to the organisation on project deliverables. They will also drive the change management and adoption of project outcomes throughout the organisation.

Role Accountabilities (What is this role responsible for delivering?)

Project Execution

• Determine and define project scope and objectives
• Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner
• Prepare budget based on scope of work and resource requirements
• Track project costs to meet budget
• Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan
• Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress
• Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables
• Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution
• Monitor progress and adjust as needed
• Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement

Key Qualifications & Skills

Qualifications

• At least 5+ years of shipping experience preferably covering several business functions and preferably from a leading industry player
• A proven track record of successfully managing multi-million projects within IT implementation and/or process optimization
• Solid understanding of IT development and the interconnected nature of systems, processes and data from formal education and/or relevant experience
• Experience in implementation ERP systems
• Well versed in the order to cash process

Technical Skills

• PMP Certified
• Prior experience with waterfall as well as SCRUM/Agile methodologies with enterprise-level application development projects
• Solid understanding of and demonstrated experience in using appropriate tools: Jira, Microsoft Project, Visio or equivalent
• The ability to build a comprehensive understanding of and strategically connect the needs of multiple functional areas
• Sufficient level of technical background to provide highly-credible leadership in objectively evaluating complex risks and issues
• Experience working with multi-function project teams with at least 10 team members and in mobilizing resources beyond the immediate team
