My Client, a Fortune 50 company is looking for a IT Business Partnering Analyst to partner with 3 business units of the company in IT projects.
The IT Analyst must understand the plans for IT in his/her area of responsibility and will participate in the achievement of these plans and effectively communicate these within business teams.

Job responsibilities:

  • Engage with business teams within his/her area of responsibility to communicate and scope the IT plan aligned with overall IT plan
  • Undertake activities for service line project activation programs
  • Undertake the relevant project execution activities to support growth programs
  • Undertake the necessary activities to provide L2/3 support for company's applications
  • Work with innovation team to provide necessary integration activities with company's applications to support innovation programs
  • Undertake the necessary project management and application development activities for Innovation projects
  • Work with local vendors in delivery of application management of project applications
  • Assist with communication and resolution of Incidents for project applications
  • Input to review of project services within area of responsibility and help develop action plans for these
  • Undertake necessary activities to ensure achievement of project service improvement plans
  • Input to review of global services and help develop action plans for these
  • Track achievement of action plans
  • Contribute to implementing key actions to address service improvement areas
  • Work with global & local vendors in delivery of global services where appropriate
  • Assist with communication and coordination of status of Urgent Incidents within the organization and understanding impact to support resolution of these incidents
  • In the case of relevant incidents with core processes works together with the functions in order to activate Business Continuing Plan (BCP) to minimize disruption
  • Participate in problem management activities as required to support operations teams in resolving problems
  • Work with business units to ensure that the benefits of the existing service lines and new/updated services lines are achieved
  • Supports the introduction of new IT Service Lines
  • Assist with processing of actual costs as required
  • Adhere to governance & compliance framework
  • Support Execution of DRP plans as appropriate


Requirements:

  • Degree or similar qualification
  • At least 5 years of experience in IT project management, service delivery or similar function
  • Knowledge in SAP - SCM (Supply Chain Management) is an advantage
  • Proven track record in delivery of IT projects in similar industry and similar application landscape
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
