Responsibilities
Responsible for the technical development of company platform. You will plan and oversee the development of new technological capabilities for the platform, including but not limited to our online user portal, mobile app, data collection and storage systems. Working closely with 3rd party vendors and a cross-disciplinary, you will drive ongoing improvements in infrastructure, systems, and platform features for a cutting edge, efficient, reliable and robust user experience.
- Lead the overall technical development of company platform: infrastructure, platforms, system integration, and features
- Work closely with stakeholders to scope requirements, anticipate needs, and translate them into effective technology plans
- Evaluate, recommend, and implement solutions to improve capabilities and operational efficiency
- Manage ongoing IT development projects
- Ensure ongoing reliability and robustness of systems, troubleshooting issues to ensure minimal downtime and service recovery
- Ensure compliance with security and personal data protection requirements
- Maintain confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential
- Contribute to team effort by assisting with special projects when required
Requirements
- At least 3-5 years of IT development and/or project management experience
- Strong understanding of technological trends, online platforms, customer management or e-commerce platforms, digital marketing systems, data, analytics, (online) research or related fields
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent planning and organizational skills
- Open-minded, adaptable and interested in new ideas and ways of doing things
- Skills in any of the following are highly preferred: web development platforms, frameworks and languages; CRM systems, database technology and management (SQL, Oracle etc.)
