A week in the life of a Senior Software Engineer (Integrator):

Development:

Participate in requirement and feedback gathering process
Propose solution and detailed design
Develop agreed solution and workload estimation
Unit test
Code review
Documentation (design, user/admin guide)

Validation & Integration:

Propose and review validation strategy concerning different requirements, test type, test environment, etc.
Prepare and review test plan and test cases
Develop and setup automatic test (DevOps included)
Perform various types of test ranging from manual test, automatic functional test, installation test, penetration test, etc.

Support & Maintenance:

Support production issue after go-live
Find root cause and bug fix

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

At least 3 years' working experience in any of these domains
- Development (Java, Java script, J2EE, C#, SQL, Bash script)
- Validation (Junit, Jmeter, SOAP UI, Postman)
- Integration (Application deployment/integration, Bash Script, Linux, Window, system monitoring, DB installation/configuration/admin)
Ability to explain idea to stakeholders from various technical backgrounds
Teamwork spirit
It is a plus if you have experience and understanding of
- Web Technologies (HTTP, Servlet, HTML/XML, JSP, SOAP)
- Security concepts (OWASP, SSL, TLS, KMS, PKI)
- Customer facing
- Government related projects
- Deployment or integration server application in customer premises

- Support production issue
