Job Description
- Analysing, designing and implementing high quality software solutions / components for the Credit Risk platform that conform to architectural standards.
- Unit- and Integration testing of components for integration into larger subsystems
- production systems
- Ensuring that produced code is secure, stable and operational before handover to the Software Component Manager
- Managing versions of software artifacts
- Demonstrate superior collaboration skills in working closely with other development, testing and implementation teams to roll-out important regulatory and business improvement programs.
- Providing the systems needed by the Investment Bank, Wealth Management and Firmwide Risk to manage Credit Risk exposure of its global Front Office trading functions.
- Providing the systems that ensure Bank's compliance to various regulatory requirements.
Experience and skills
- Excellent knowledge of SQL und Oracle PL/SQL
- Experience in logical and physical data modelling
- Very good analytical and design skills, and the ability to grasp complex business or technical issues in a structured and efficient manner
- Good experience with Tools such as Toad and Power Designer
- Good skills in the debugging und troubleshooting of PL/SQL
- Experience as DBA would be extremely advantageous
- Good knowhow of UNIX / Solaris - being able to implement shell scripts on your own
- Experience with job scheduling systems like JCS or Autosys is of advantage
- Solving and synthesizing skills (you know how to figure stuff out)
